Weekly report
Seeing as I have been quiet on the blogging front for a little while, I thought I would provide those who take an interest in such things an update.
Firstly, the most important thing - the new job. As I said earlier, so far, so good. The majority of my time was taken up with creating a screen design for one of the TAFE institute's new web site. Very different to what I was doing at education. The culture at the new place is a bit of a change as well. Less eating which is probably a good thing really. The hardest thing so far is taking my lunch every day.
It was Vanessa and Cameron's gen's and buck's nights last night. The boys went go karting, had dinner at The Norman, and finished with drinks at The Bowery. The girls had dinner at the Banyan Tree and met up with the boys at the Bowery. A good time was had by all. Tom has numerous bruises and grazes from the karting and the distinction of breaking two karts and running over Craig's foot. I drank lots of wine.
We have finally got all of the cupboard doors in the kitchen painted and put back on. It makes quite a difference. We just need to decide what colours we want to paint everything else and we can get started on the rest of the house.
We went to the motor show this week as well and sat in lots of cars. That was lots of fun. Our favourites were the Suzuki Swift and suprisingly, the Nissan Tilda. We aren't likely to buy a brand new car for our next car but it was fun to look.
Am currently at basketball watching Tom's team play. They are winning so Tom will be happy after the game. He is also shooting lots of points so he should be doubly happy. He is currently arguing with the referee though...
