For the Benefit of Mr Kite

Sydney was cold and Sydney was wet.
Cameron lost his camera in the cab )c:
We stayed in a very funky hotel that had a loft area for our bed.
If catching the train to Liverpool don't go via the Bankstown line.
Sydney likes to sleep in on Sunday mornings - the shops don't open until around 11am.
Qantas has better in-flight services than Virgin Blue but Virgin Blue's flight attendants are far, far better than Qantas.
I like to visit Sydney, but prefer to do it under happier circumstances.
I had no idea that my brother had a Voltron set when he was younger.
We left the cats alone for almost two days and they are now very glad to see me.
I am exhausted from Sydney.

Left Behind: Eternal Forces

In this game, you get to play a fundamentalist Christain oot solider whose job it is to convert or kill all infidels - Muslums, Jews, Catholics, homosexuals and any one else who doesn't agree with your fundamentalist ideas. Now really, hands up who thinks that this game will make the world a better place?

Of course, the game has links to a Christian group/church called The Purpose Driven Life. These guys believe that the church has a right to take over the world as a precursor to the second-coming of Jesus and to do this, the group/church will require "foot-soldiers".

Of course, I won't go into the many, many, many reasons why I don't agree with the concept behind this game because you are either on my side and don't need me to explain it to you or you aren't on my side and any explaination probably won't do much to change your opinion.

Tomorrow is my last day in my current job. It's a bit sad really. I've enjoyed working here at lot. I've learnt quite a bit and I will miss being the "guru".

But...on Tuesday next week, I start work at Funkytown IT with Miss Frog and a whole heap of other hopefully interesting people (obviously real names have not been used here). It's a bit scary as I know the work is going to be very full on and it's scary because I'm going to be the new person again.

Oh well...out with the old, in with the new!
