For the Benefit of Mr Kite

I think that it's official that Tomas and I are trivia addicts. Tomorrow is a public holiday so there is no trivia on our normal night so in order to cope, we went to trivia tonight at the Morningside Services Club.

I was very happy with our performance. We got 15 on three rounds, including the music round (yes, that's right, 15/16 on the music round). I won us a bottle of wine for knowing Aldous Huxley. Unfortunately, we bombed out on the bonus questions.

So I am currently developing a flash-based website. It will be using the Model-View-Controller methodology because that is how I make stuff. Today, I completed the setting up of all the classes and began actually doing something with them but I hit a snag when I realised that my model class is never instantiating. Everything else is playing nice, just not my model.

My model is a singleton class and first time around when I created it with a private constructor, I got a slew of errors, so I changed to a public constructor but it never gets instantiated. No matter how many times I call Model.getInstance, Model.getInstance never fires!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Sometimes it feels good to complain.

Yes that's right. It's a new mini clubman. I want. Though mine will not be blue.

Firstly, I am not knocked up. Nor is anyone I know.

Secondly, this is the funniest movie that I have seen for a while. On
Friday night, I went out with a group of my friends (including an 8.5
months pregnant lady) to see this movie and although I didn't pay full
price to see it, I would have gladly forked over the $13-14 dollars to
see it.
